Programs at Barwon Regional Cricket Centre
Our programs create plenty of opportunities for players to be active, social and walk away with new skills. See below a list of our current and upcoming programs.
Current Programs
Spin to Win
Learn to spin-bowl in our 6-week Spin to Win program lead by Coach Callum Stow. Program commences Monday, October 7.
- $150 per person
- 6 X 90 minute lessons
- Monday nights at 7pm
The Spin to Win program is a specialist spin bowling course designed to help spinners sharpen their skills. From increasing revs on the ball to mastering the art of setting up a batter, this program provides in-depth coaching tailored to spin bowlers. It’s the perfect way for aspiring spinners to take their game to the next level.
Upcoming Programs
Get into Cricket (Beginner)
This program is tailored to kids aged from 5-10 years old who have never played cricket before and want to give it a try. In this program, children learn the fundamentals of cricket in a supportive environment while being social and having fun!
Sessions will be casual and all equipment will be provided. Pay as you play, or pay for a package and save.
Intro to Cricket (Intermediate)
This program is tailored to kids aged from 5-10 years old who have some cricket skills and are looking to take the next step. This program is for the child that is ready for junior cricket and wants to learn more than just fundamentals.
Sessions will be casual and all equipment will be provided. Pay as you play, or pay for a package and save.
Women’s Cricket Program
This program is suitable for women of all skill level, from beginners to well established players. We’ll talk about everything from the fundamentals of cricket to the 1% efforts that get overlooked in a game.
No one will be out of their depth in this program. Players are expected to bring personal protection however some equipment is available at BRCC, please let us know if we can help.

Barwon Batting Barn
The Barwon Batting Barn is suited towards players 14 years and older. This specialist batting program is designed to improve technique and identify different ways to score to put more runs on the board.
Players are expected to bring their own equipment. Some equipment is available at BRCC, please let us know if we can help.

Fast Bowling Academy
The Fast Bowling Academy is a packaged specialist bowling program, targeting seam bowlers aged 16 years and older. This program is designed for players looking to increase speed, manage variations, bowl to a plan, improve accuracy, and teach the importance of bowling loads and warm ups.
Want to bowl fast? This is the program for you. All participants will receive an in depth running program included in the academy program.
Barwon Cricket Academy
The Barwon Cricket Academy is a high-performance program for young cricketers looking to elevate their game. Likened to representative cricket programs, players will receive advanced training in batting, bowling, and fielding, while also focusing on game sense and building Cricket IQ.
With an emphasis on game analysis and strategy, this program develops the skills and mental sharpness needed for higher levels of competition.
Fielding Fanatics
More than half of our time playing cricket is spent in the field, so why don’t we train that way? The fielding Fanatics program will teach the technical side to fielding, from fielding in the deep, to catching positions around the bat. Be the player that changes the game for your team.
Our fielding fanatics program is pay as you play.
U14 Cricket Camp
The Under-14 Cricket Camp is a 3-day program designed for young players who are eager to develop their cricket skills in a fun, friendly, and engaging environment.
Over the course of three action-packed days, participants will experience a well-rounded introduction to the game while building on their current skills.
High Performance Cricket Workshop
The HPC Workshop is an extensive 3-day holiday program designed for aspiring cricketers who want to push their limits and experience high-performance training firsthand.
Tailored for players aiming to elevate their game, this workshop offers a unique opportunity to train like the professionals and gain a deeper understanding of what it takes to excel at the elite level. Through advanced coaching and professional-level drills, participants will get a taste of the physical and mental demands faced by top cricketers.
Elite Cricket Program
The Elite Cricket Program is a full-day program designed to run during the school holidays, providing young cricketers with an opportunity to enhance their skills and deepen their knowledge of the game.
Whether you’re a beginner looking to build a solid foundation or an advanced player aiming to sharpen your skills, this program offers a comprehensive cricketing experience for all skill levels.
King Brown Cricket Academy
Want to play like the pros? This is the program for you. The King Brown Cricket Academy is a comprehensive High-Performance academy designed to help young cricketers unlock their full potential. Focused on elite-level training, this academy offers an in-depth experience that covers specialist batting, bowling, and fielding techniques, as well as enhancing cricket IQ and game sense.
Participants will receive expert coaching to refine their skills and elevate their understanding of the game. Through focused sessions on strategy, decision-making, and match awareness, players will learn to think and perform like professional cricketers.
Each player will receive a handcrafted King Brown Cricket Bat as part of their package.
